Kerala Blasters (10 goals)

In 16 games against the Kerala Blasters, Sunil Chhetri has 10 goals and 1 assist to his name. This includes the memorable hat-trick that he scored against BFC’s Southern rivals at the Kanteerava Stadium last season.

Mumbai City (10 goals)

Given his legacy with BFC, not many of the new Indian football followers may remember that Chhetri actually played for Mumbai City FC in the 2016 and 2017 ISL season. However, this has not stopped the football legend from tormenting his former club. The Bengaluru FC skipper has scored 10 goals and provided 1 assist in 19 appearances against the Islanders.

Chennaiyin FC (7 goals)

Just like his record against the Blasters, Chhetri has delivered against Bengaluru FC’s other Southern neighbours as well. The striker has scored 7 goals and provided 3 assists against Chennaiyin FC, proving his worth in the big games.

NorthEast United (7 goals)

In 20 ISL games against NorthEast United, the BFC skipper has 7 goals and 3 assists to his name. Chhetri became the first Indian player to score a hat-trick in the ISL during his time with Mumbai City FC in 2015 when he scored three past the Highlanders in a 5-1 win.

FC Goa (6 goals)

The forward has scored 6 goals in 18 ISL appearances against FC Goa. His header was a decisive factor against the Gaurs in the semi-final last season as Bengaluru’s captain took his team to the final.

Pune City (6 goals)

The former Indian captain has scored six goals against Pune City in 7 ISL matches. This includes the hat trick that he scored for Bengaluru FC in the 2017-18 semi-final.

Hyderabad FC (6 goals)

Sunil Chhetri scored three goals against Hyderabad FC last season. Overall, he has 6 goals in 12 ISL matches against the Nizams.

Jamshedpur FC (5 goals)

In 15 ISL games, the Bengaluru FC veteran has scored 5 goals and provided 2 assists to his teammates against Jamshedpur FC. Interestingly, he has not scored against them in the last three seasons.

Odisha FC (5 goals)

Chhetri has five goals against Odisha FC in 12 ISL games. He scored both home and away against Sergio Lobera’s side last season; however, both were in losing efforts.

East Bengal (4 goals)

Delhi Dynamos (3 goals)

Out of Chettri’s three goals against the Delhi Dynamos, two have come in the colours of Mumbai City.

ATK (2 goals)

Chhetri has two goals and 1 assist in 11 games against the three-time ISL champions. One of these goals came when he was playing for Mumbai, while the other came with Bengaluru FC in the 2017-18 season.

Mohun Bagan (2 goals)

In 11 ISL games, Sunil Chhetri has 2 goals and 1 assist to his name against Mohun Bagan. His Bengaluru FC side have also lost the ISL Final twice against the Mariners.

Punjab FC (1 goal)

The BFC captain has scored 1 goal and provided 2 assists in 4 ISL games against Punjab FC.

Mohammedan SC (1 goal)

Sunil Chhetri’s only ISL goal against Mohammedan SC was the penalty that he scored in Kolkata last season after coming on as a substitute.
