NorthEast United FC sit at the fourth spot in the ISL table.

NorthEast United FC bounced back to winning ways with a 0-2 win against Jamshedpur FC away from home. The Highlanders have also completed the league double over the Red Miners in the process and have moved up in the standings. Imran Khan created the first chance of the game in the 3rd minute, but the visitors somehow managed to clear away the danger. Alaeddine Ajaraie broke the deadlock with a first-time finish in the 6th minute.

Gurmeet made a routine save before Parthib Gogoi brought Albino Gomes into action. The hosts came very close to equalising, but just couldn’t put the ball into the back of the net despite three back-to-back attempts. Pronay Halder registered a shot on target before Ajaraie put the game to bed with a second goal. The Moroccan target man also made it to the history books for the most number of goals in a single ISL season (20).
