ISL 2024-25: Updated Points Table, most goals, and most assists after match 131, Mohammedan SC vs East Bengal FC

East Bengal FC sit at the 11th spot in the ISL table.
East Bengal bounced back to winning ways and secured the bragging rights with a solitary 1-3 win over Mohammedan SC in the Kolkata mini derby. The Red and Golds looked sharp and were highly motivated to get the better of their city rivals. This result marks the first-ever ISL win for East Bengal in any of their derbies. The torchbearers had two early chances before eventually breaking the deadlock in the 27th minute.
Naorem Mahesh Singh scored the first goal from a narrow-angle to give his side an early lead before bringing Padam Chhetri into action. Raphaël Messi Bouli marked his return to the ISL with an assist as he set up Saul Crespo for the second goal. The Black Panthers pulled a goal back with Carlos Franca finding the back of the net. David Lalhlansanga came off the bench and made it 1-3 and won the game for his side.

The table remains unchanged following tonight’s result. Mohun Bagan lead the table with 49 points in 21 games. FC Goa hold the second position with 39 points from 20 games while the third position is held by Jamshedpur FC with 34 points from 20 games. NorthEast United FC remained at the fourth position with 32 points in 21 games. Bengaluru FC stuck to the fifth position with 31 points in 20 games and Mumbai City FC have not moved from the sixth spot respectively with 31 points in 20 games.
Odisha FC continued to sit at the seventh position with 29 points in 21 games. Kerala Blasters remained at the eighth spot with 24 points in 20 outings. Punjab FC retained the ninth place with 24 points in 20 games. Chennaiyin FC are still positioned tenth with 24 points in 21 matches. East Bengal sit at the eleventh spot with 21 points from 20 games. Hyderabad FC have not moved from the twelfth spot with 16 points from 20 games. Mohammedan SC remained intact at the bottom of the table with eleven points in 19 matches.
