Bengaluru FC sit at the fourth spot in the ISL 2024-25 table.

The trouble continues for NorthEast United FC in ISL 2024-25 at their new venue in Shillong as they end up on the losing side for the second consecutive game. It was a high-voltage game with both sides bringing their A-game to the game, but Bengaluru FC were one step ahead.

The Blues got off to an electric start and scored the opening goal just three minutes into the first half. Edgar Mendez and Alberto Noguera combined well to set up Ryan Williams for the opening.

The hosts came out all guns blazing after conceding the opener and kept on putting pressure on the away side. Alaaeddine Ajaraie brought Lalthuammawia Ralte into action with a fingertip save before Thoi Singh put the ball into the back of the net in the rebound, but his goal was marked offside. Jithin MS came on and helped his side create multiple key chances, but it just wasn’t meant to be as Bengaluru FC scored the second goal in the final moments of the game and secured all three points.

The top three remain unchanged. Mohun Bagan lead the standings with 49 points in 21 games. The second position is held by FC Goa with 39 points from 20 games. Jamshedpur FC stayed firm at the third spot with 37 points from 21 games. Bengaluru FC have been promoted to fourth following tonight’s win and now have 34 points from 21 games. NorthEast United FC have come down to fifth with 32 points in 22 games. Mumbai CIty FC have further dropped down to the sixth spot with 31 points in 21 games.

Odisha FC are still positioned seventh with 29 points in 21 games. Kerala Blasters continue to hold the eighth spot with 24 points in 20 outings. Punjab FC sit at ninth place with 24 points in 20 games. Chennaiyin FC remained at the tenth spot with 24 points in 21 matches. East Bengal retained the eleventh spot with 21 points from 20 games. Hyderabad FC have not moved from the twelfth spot with 17 points from 21 games. Mohammedan SC are still sitting at the bottom of the table with eleven points in 21 matches.
