Mumbai City FC sit at the seventh spot in the ISL 2024-25 table.

The final match of gameweek 25 of ISL 2024-25 witnessed Kerala Blasters get the better of Mumbai City FC in front of their home fans. The Blasters have also helped Odisha FC keep their playoff hopes alive. The first chance of the game fell to Mumbai City FC, but Lallianzuala Chhangte was denied an opening by the crossbar before Phurba Lachenpa was brought into action by Milos Drincic a few minutes later.

The home side started the second half on the front foot and broke the deadlock with just seven minutes in the final half. Simple football by the Blasters combined with a mistake from the visitors helped Kwame Peprah breach Lachenpa’s goal. Chhangte came very close to scoring the equaliser, but missed the target by the finest of margins. The hosts could’ve added one more goal, but Lachenpa denied them with two quick saves.

Mohun Bagan are the league shield winners with 53 points in 23 games. FC Goa hold the second place with 48 points from 23 games. Bengaluru FC are ranked third with 38 points from 23 games. Jamshedpur FC are positioned fourth with 38 points from 23 games. NorthEast United FC  continue to sit at fifth spot with 35 points in 23 games while Odisha FC remain at the fifth position with 33 points in 24 games.

Mumbai City FC are placed seventh with 33 points in 23 matches. East Bengal are still ranked eighth with 27 points. Kerala Blasters have reclaimed the ninth position with 28 points from 23 games. Punjab FC have dropped back to tenth with 27 points in 23 matches. Chennaiyin FC sit at eleventh with 24 points in 23 games. Hyderabad FC are still placed twelfth with 17 points from 23 games. Mohammedan SC are still sitting at the bottom of the table with twelve points in 23 matches.
