Mumbai City FC finish sixth in the ISL 2024-25.

Mumbai City have pulled off one of the most iconic nights at the Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru with a five-star performance in their do-or-die final match in ISL 2024-25. The Islanders came out all guns blazing when their entire season was on the line and have qualified for the playoffs in the process. Petr Kratky’s side have become the sixth and final team to qualify for the knockouts and will face off against NorthEast United in a knockout game away from home.

Lallianzuala Chhangte delivered a captain’s performance and broke the deadlock to put his side in the lead with just eight minutes on the clock. It was clear that Mumbai City FC wanted it more because the Blues just couldn’t match the intensity of their opponents. Nikolaos Karelis doubled his side’s advantage from the spot and inspired them to a top six finish yet again.
