Hyderabad FC pulled off the unthinkable and shocked Kerala Blasters with a five-star performance in front of a jam-packed crowd in Kochi.

The Blasters broke the deadlock with a strike from Jesus Jimenez in the 13th minute. The Spanish forward opened the scoring with a picture-perfect finish and scored his sixth goal of the season.

Hyderabad’s Spanish midfielder maestro Andrei Alba brought his side back on level terms and nullified Jimenez’s opener.

Both sides came out all guns blazing in the second half before the referee pointed to the spot and awarded a penalty to the away side. Andrei Alba made one mistake in putting past Som Kumar and scored his second goal of the night to wrap up a historic comeback victory.
