FC Goa were too strong for Kerala till the end of the game.

FC Goa made their trip to God’s own country a memorable outing by securing a hard-fought win against the Kerala Blasters in ISL away from home. The Gaurs scored the first goal and combined it well with a strong defensive performance to see out a memorable win on the road. Boris Singh’s long-range attempt coupled with a mistake from Sachin Suresh helped FC Goa break the deadlock and silence a jam-packed crowd in Kochi.

Both teams came out strong in the second half and tried to find the back of the net, but couldn’t produce anything substantial. FC Goa brought Sachin into action twice in the early moments of the second half before Noah Sadaoui and Adrian Luna tried their luck on goal. Kerala Blasters had a golden opportunity in stoppage time, but Sandeep Singh’s shot went well wide.
