Punjab FC grab an easy win over the Black and White Brigade.

Punjab FC finally created some breathing space for themselves in the Indian Super League (ISL) after bouncing back to winning ways after a couple of defeats. The Shers came out on top against the league’s latest entrants Mohammedan SC with a 2-0 in front of their home fans, thanks to a goal each from Filip Mrzljak and skipper Luka Majcen. With this win, they have now strengthened their position in the upper half of the table.

The visitors came out all guns blazing in the first half and created back-to-back chances, but just couldn’t finish them off while the home side also had a chance to go in front. The Black Panthers came out with the same intention in the second half, but they were just not able to find the back of the net until Luka Majcen and Filip Mrzljak scored and put the game to bed.
