ISL 2024-25: Updated Points Table, most goals, and most assists after match 66, Chennaiyin FC vs Hyderabad FC
Chennaiyin FC looked dominant throughout the game.
Chennaiyin FC finally bounced back to winning ways as the Indian Super League (ISL) returned to action for its game week 12. The Marina Machans secured a crucial victory in front of their loyal fans against Hyderabad FC and added three more points to their tally.
The home side broke the deadlock just five minutes into the game, courtesy of an early strike from Irfan Yadwad.
Hyderabad FC gave a strong response and forced Mohammad Nawaz into a brilliant save. The Nizams kept on piling up the pressure on the home side and created multiple chances, but just couldn’t get thorough. Chennaiyin FC came out all guns blazing in search of a second goal in the final half, but couldn’t succeed and had to settle for a 1-0 win.

The upper half of the table remains unchanged following tonight’s result. Mohun Bagan continue to hold the first position on the table followed by Bengaluru FC in the second position. Punjab FC continue to sit at the third position followed by FC Goa at the fourth position. Odisha FC still occupies the fifth spot while NorthEast United are still ranked sixth.
Chennaiyin FC have jumped up to the seventh position following their win tonight. Jamshedpur FC have dropped down to eighth while Mumbai City FC have come down to ninth place.
Kerala Blasters hold the tenth position. East Bengal have jumped up to the eleventh position with seven points under their belt. The twelfth and thirteenth positions are held by Hyderabad FC and Mohammedan SC respectively.
