ISL 2024-25: Updated Points Table, most goals, and most assists after match 75, East Bengal vs Jamshedpur FC
Dimitrios Diamantakos’s goal at the hour mark proved to be the decider for East Bengal.
Mumbai City FC secured a 1-0 win against Chennaiyin FC in the city of dreams and have straightaway jumped into the top six of the ISL. The Islanders broke the deadlock early in the game, thanks to a strike from Nikolaos Karelis who netted his sixth goal of the campaign. Chennaiyin FC tried their level best to get back into the game, but the hosts kept things very tight at the back and wrapped up an important win in the process.
In the second game of the day, East Bengal gave a good account of themselves and bounced back to winning ways against Jamshedpur FC at home. The Red and Gold brigade kept on piling up the pressure on the visitors with dangerous moves in the final, but couldn’t find the back of the net in the first half. Dimitrios Diamantakos scored the lone goal of the game and helped East Bengal secure their fourth win of the season.

Mohun Bagan are still sitting at the top of the standings with Bengaluru FC holding the second position. FC Goa hare are ranked third while Mumbai City FC have climbed up to the fourth position. Odisha FC have further slipped down to the fifth spot followed by Punjab FC at the sixth position.
Jamshedpur FC have slipped down to the seventh spot while NorthEast United FC hold the eighth position. Chennaiyin FC are still positioned ninth. East Bengal have come up to the tenth position. Kerala Blasters continue are now ranked eleventh. Meanwhile, the twelfth and thirteenth positions are held by Hyderabad FC and Mohammedan SC respectively.
