ISL 2024-25: Updated Points Table, most goals, and most assists after match 87, Jamshedpur FC vs Bengaluru FC
The ISL table has changed a bit after today’s games.
The first game of Gameweek 15’s doubleheader witnessed FC Goa thrash Odisha FC 4-2 in Bhubaneswar and add three more points to their tally. It was a high-scoring encounter that saw the Gaurs wrap up a perfectly worked win. Brison Fernades opened the scoring with an early strike before Ahmed Jahouh made it 1-1.
Udanta Singh scored the second goal before Brison added one more. Amey Ranawade scored an own goal before Jerry Mawihmingthanga pulled a goal back for the Juggernauts.
In the second game, Jamshedpur FC scripted a comeback to remember against Bengaluru FC at the furnace. Alberto Noguera broke the deadlock and put the Blues in the lead with just 19 minutes on the clock. The visitors looked comfortable and it seemed that they were cruising towards a win.
The Red Miners flipped the game on its head. Jordan Murray pulled a goal back before Gurpreet Singh Sandhu made a huge mistake and allowed Muhammed Uvais to score a screamer and win the game for the home side.
A brief look at the points table
Mohun Bagan lead the pack with 32 points in 14 games. Bengaluru FC hold the second position with 27 points while FC Goa have jumped back to the third spot with 25 points. Jamshedpur FC have been promoted to the fourth position following an emphatic win tonight while NorthEast United FC have dropped down to fifth with 22 points in 14 games. Odisha FC complete the top six with 20 points in 14 games.
The lower half of the table remains unchanged as Mumbai City FC hold the seventh spot with 20 points. Punjab FC retained the eighth position with 18 points in 12 games. Chennaiyin FC remain intact at ninth with 15 points.
Kerala Blasters have not moved from the tenth spot and have 14 points to their name. East Bengal are still positioned eleventh with 14 points. Hyderabad FC and Mohammedan SC share the twelfth and the thirteenth positions respectively.
