Kerala Blasters are now eighth in the ISL 2024-25 table
Kerala Blasters FC staged one of the most magical nights in Kochi as they pulled off a heist against Odisha FC in the first game of game week 17 of ISL 2024-25. Jerry Mawihmingthanga broke the deadlock early in the game and put the visitors ahead following some confusion between the Blasters. The hosts kept on pushing for an equalizer, but Odisha stood their ground and did not entertain their chances and the half-time scoreboard read 0-1 in favour of the away side.
Kwame Peprah pulled a goal back for his side in style in the 60th minute and brought the game back on level terms. Jesus Jimenez came off the bench and put Kerala Blasters ahead in the tie in the 73rd minute before Dori pounced on a mistake from Sachin Suresh and made it 2-2.
