The 2025-26 Indian Super League (ISL) is finally up and running after a long delay. We are done and dusted with the twelfth gameweek, and Khel Now is back with another analysis of the Indian football team players. This time, the names of the top ten Indian players have been listed below. 

This report has been prepared based on the Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 Game Week 12 to keep track of the players’ performance while keeping an eye on the upcoming international assignments. 

The top ten players of this week are:

Ryan Williams – 8/10

Ryan Williams put in a match winning performance for Bengaluru FC up front. Williams recorded three shots, including two shots on target. He unleashed a right footed shot in the left corner and found the back of the net for the Blues. His goal was the only point of difference between the two teams. He now has four goals to his name and is now among the top Indian goalscorers this season.

Subhasish Bose – 8/10

Subhasish Bose stood like a wall in the heart of Mohun Bagan’s backline and neutralised all the danger that came his way. He recorded ten defensive contributions, including seven tackles. Bose also made nine ball recoveries, two clearances and one block. The left back made bombing runs forward and completed 32/35 passes with an accuracy of over 90%. He also tried a shot which was blocked just outside the box.

Prabhsukhan Gill was the best goalkeeper this week. He came up with a performance worthy of a mention and rescued a crucial point for his side. Gill’s heroics under the bar put East Bengal in pole position to win the title race. He made five massive saves against Punjab’s star studded attacking unit. The 35 year old made seven ball recoveries and recorded four saves from inside the box.

Sreekuttan MS – 7.5/10

Sreekuttan came off the bench in the second half and changed his fortunes forever. The youngster was handed only his second appearance in the Indian top flight and he made the most out of it. The 21-year-old came very close to scoring minutes after coming on, but remained unlucky only to score a few minutes later. Sreekuttan scored his debut ISL goal and secured three points for his side.

Ronney Willson Kharbudon – 7.5/10

Ronney Willson Kharbudon had an evening to remember in the colours of FC Goa against Mohun Bagan. The young gun came on to play his first ever ISL match while the Gaurs were trailing. He came on and made an instant impact within six minutes and scored a picture perfect goal from a very tight angle against one of the best keepers in the ISL. Rooney’s equaliser rescued an important point for FC Goa at home. 

K Lalrinfela – 7.5/10

K Lalrinfela has been one of the most underrated Indian players this season. He has mostly been under the radar, but has executed his role and plans to perfection on a lot of occasions. Lalrinfela capped off a series of impactful performances with his debut ISL goal and inspired his side to a 1-2 win over Delhi. The 26-year-old completed 80% of his passes while executing two key passes.

VP Suhair – 7.5/10

Suhair is one the most in-form Indian players at the moment. He has been one of the most impactful players for Odisha FC this season and has good numbers to show for his efforts. The striker has four goal contributions in his last six outings, including a goal in the week gone by. He completed ⅔ successful dribbles and recorded four touches in the opposition box. The 33-year-old also won the majority of his duels.

Gurpreet Singh Sandhu – 7.5/10

Bengaluru FC goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu believes Odisha FC are not an unpredictable opponent

Gurpreet Singh Sandhu had another good day at office for Bengaluru FC and features in this list for the second consecutive week. Sandhu made four saves, including a save from inside the box and two high scores. He won all of his ground and aerial duels while making eleven ball recoveries and one clearance. Sandhu now leads the Golden Glove race with five clean sheets, the most by any goalkeeper this season.

Gurmeet Singh – 7.5/10

Gurmeet Singh was one of the heroes for NorthEast United FC in their latest win. While the strikers got all the limelight for their goals, it was Gurmeet’s top class goalkeeper that gave the Highlanders an edge. He made four saves, all of them were from inside the box. Singh also recorded one punch out and came off his line once to neutralise the danger. He also made 17 ball recoveries, the most by any player. 

Lalbiakdika Vanlalvunga – 7/10

Lalbiakdika Vanlalvunga came on very late in the second half and strengthened NorthEast United’s advantage. He played just fourteen minutes and made every minute count. The 26-year-old forward unleashed a left footed shot from inside the box and found the back of the net. He completed the majority of his passes and also made two ball recoveries in the process.
