IWL 2025: Full updated squad of Odisha FC
Defending champions Odisha FC have announced their 25-women squad ahead of the new season.
Ahead of the new season of the Indian Women’s League (IWL), the Odisha FC women have announced their 25-women squad to repeat as back-to-back IWL champions. The 2023-2024 campaign saw the Juggernauts getting pushed all the way to the final game of the season by runners-up Gokulam Kerala FC.
While the Juggernauts came out on top with a dominant 6-0 win over Kickstart FC, the focus for Odisha will be to dominate from the very beginning. With players like Pyari Xaxa and Lynda Kom within their ranks, the Juggernauts will have a potent attack against any opposition.
In defence, Odisha boasts a plethora of talent including last season’s golden glove winner with the most clean sheets in goalkeeper Shreya Hooda. With 9 clean sheets last season, she was the league’s best shot-stopper by a considerable margin.
She will also have plenty of support in the form of Maryam Ibrahim, Arifa Zaheer and Kajal Kantiwal to help keep even more clean sheets this season. Under coach Crispin Chettri, Odisha Women FC held their nerve in a tense league title race with Gokulam Kerala FC.

But the West Bengal native will be well versed of their new status as the hunted rather than being the hunter from last season. Despite losing some key players like IWL’s Best Midfielder award winner Indumathi Kathiresan and free-scoring forward Win Theingi Tun, the champions are once again the favorites to win it all this upcoming season.
While it will be an uphill task to battle against contenders Gokulam Kerala FC and Kickstart FC, the Juggernauts will be looking to show their quality in the upcoming 2024-2025 IWL campaign.
