'Well deserved!': Twitter reacts as FC Goa lift the Kalinga SuperCup 2025

FC Goa won over The Red Miners with a comfortable 3-0 win.

Manolo Marquez has successfully led FC Goa to victory in the Kalinga Super Cup final, as the Gaurs scored 3-0 against Jamshedpur FC.

This Super Cup win marks a significant achievement for the Gaurs under head coach Manolo Marquez’s guidance and most importantly, secures a place for the Gaurs in the upcoming Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League 2.

A beautiful touch from Dejan Drazic started the attack that had led to Borja Herrera’s opening goal for FC Goa in the Kalinga Super Cup final, giving the Gaurs a one-goal lead at halftime.

Akash Sangwan attempted with two shots, the first one was blocked by Stephen Eze, but Borja Herrera did his best to finish the third attempt and find the back of the net.

Borja Herrera extended FC Goa’s lead early in the second half, adding one more goal with a stunning long-range strike in the 51st minute. His powerful shot found the top right corner of the net, just beyond a diving Albino Gomes.

Any doubts about the outcome of the Kalinga Super Cup final were extinguished as Dejan Drazic found the back of the net, making it a 3-0 for comfortable win for FC Goa.
