Kerala Blasters FC vs Mohun Bagan Super Giant Player Ratings : Ashique, Salahudeen shine while Bikash, Naocha disappoint

The Mariners progress to the semifinals after beating the Kerala Blasters with a 2-1 score line.
Mohun Bagan have successfully navigated their Kalinga Super Cup quarter-final, securing a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Kerala Blasters to advance in the competition.
Despite creating a lot of chances Kerala Blasters FC could not convert their chances into goals while two wonderful goals, from Sahal Abdul Samad and Suhail Ahmad Bhat gave the Mariners comfortable win with a 2-1 scoreline

Sachin Suresh – 6

Sachin Suresh had shown impressive reflexes by pulling some wonderful one to one saves. He was also good with distribution but ultimately could not prevent Mohun bagan from finding the back of the net twice.
Hormipam Ruivah – 5.5
While he made some good tackles and few attempts to win the ball he had failed to track his opponents thereby conceding both the goals. The only positive was having a shot in the first half of the game.
Milos Drincic – 5.5
Despite wearing the captain’s armband and possessing significant experience, Drincic failed to effectively lead the defense today and also received a booking.
Bikash Yumnam – 5.5
Failing to live up to high expectations after the East Bengal match, he struggled to mark opponents, offered little contribution, and was dominated by the Mariners
Huidrom Naocha Singh – 5.5
While initially providing support in the final third Noacha was not able to balance both both attack and defense duties. He was unable to win the balls as well resulting in his substitution in the second half.
Dusan Lagator – 6
Despite some good recoveries and tackles, his frequent loss of possession in midfield created significant danger, which Mohun Bagan effectively exploited
Vibin Mohanan – 6

His pressing broke the defence of opponents well, but his inaccurate passing, with many mispasses to Noah and Jiminez was a problem. He also struggled with possession, giving the ball away too easily.
Danish Farooq – 6
Danish was one of the most players who had a good game. He had won a lot of duels but was not able to create chances out of them and was subbed off in the second half of the game
Mohammed Aimen – 6.5
Aimen’s creative efforts almost ended up in a goal just before the half time, He cut in and his shot narrowly missed it. Despite his active contributions and efforts He was replaced by Peprah in the 46th minute.
Jesus Jimenez – 7

Jesus Jiminez who was on the score sheet for Kerala Blasters in the last game worked hard and created chances. In fact he had failed to convert two back-to-back opportunities which could have been crucial in changing the outcome of the game
Noah Sadaoui – 7
Noah tirelessly worked to score for the Tuskers even until the dying moments of the game. He was seen creating a lot of chances but couldn’t give the finishing touch to the chances.
Substitutions
Kwame Peprah – 6
Peprah came in the 46th minute replacing Mohammad Aimen. Contributed with a link up play along with Jiminez to set up the goal for Sreekuttan
Sreekuttan – 6.5
He scored the goal for the Blasters despite coming in late. He constantly tried to create chances but could not unfortunately equalise
Muhammad Saheef – 6
Saheef did not particularly shine nor did he falter. He just made a couple of clearances that was necessary. Positioned himself well and did not lose possession that often
Aibanbha Dohling – 6
Came in the 56th minute. He did not have a standout performance but did his basic defensive duties well.
Y Ebindas – NA
Was brought on the 81st minute and Had a very limited time to make an impact

Dheeraj Singh – 8.0
Dheeraj proved his quality in between the sticks by being a proactive figure in his goal. He made a 3-4 excellent saves to deny close-range efforts and was efficient in dealing with the crosses too.
Saurabh Bhanwala – 6.5
Bhanwala was outwitted a few times, with his lack of pace troubling him. However, he made some key challenges to frustrate the opponents.
Dippendu Biswas – 6.5
Quite aggressive with his approach for the game, popping up with some key clearances. However, he was outwitted by Jimenez a few times in the second half, causing big chances for the forward.
Nuno Reis – 7.5
The Portuguese defender impressed in his debut. He was sturdy and composed at the back, helping maintain a stubborn defensive shape and making a number of key clearances.
Amandeep – 7.5
Amandeep was really efficient and proactive on the left with his admirable defensive work. He neutralised the threat of Aimen and Noah, not allowing Kerala Blasters create much through his side. Made a great goal-line save late on, but played Sreetkutten onside for his goal.
Abhishek Suryavanshi – 7.0.
Suryavanshi protected his backline pretty well with his solid defensive work. He won back possession quite a few times and played a nice long ball to trigger the opening goal.
Deepak Tangri – 6.5.
Tangri worked hard in the midfield areas and also brought some fieriness with his crunching tackles. Helped maintain a sturdy shape and stop Kerala’s movement through the middle.
Salahudheen Adnan – 8.0.
The young winger was an exciting, driving figure for the Mariners on the right. He tormented defenders with his excellent dribbles, sending in nice crosses and also making a perfect pass for Sahal’s goal.
Ashique Kuruniyan – 8.0

Ashique thrived in the free role he received on the left flank and was an absolute menace. He constantly drove his side forward with speedy forward runs and played a great cross for the second goal.Sahal Abdul Samad – 8.0Sahal appeared to enjoy the freedom he received in the opposition box against his former side. He moved his side forward with clever link-up play and produced a brilliant bit of control before blasting the shot into the goal for the opener.
Suhail Bhat – 7.5

The young forward added a lot of energy and hunger to his side’s attack with his diligent running. He pressed the Kerala Blasters defenders to make things tough for them and his clever positioning grabbed him a goal, where he produced some admirable finishing skills too.
Substitutes
Glan Martins – 6.5
The rugged midfielder added a bit more physical prowess and defensive steel to his side after coming on, helping them get the job done. Struck the post late on with a powerful shot.
