Paulo Cézar, began his football journey in his homeland, Brazil, developing through youth systems including EC Bahia and Itabuna EC before progressing into the senior ranks.

Cézar’s early professional career included stints in various leagues abroad, gaining exposure to different tactical environments. His international experience saw him feature in the Egyptian Premier League, where he played for a club listed among his career history, and in Central America’s competitive landscape with Municipal Grecia.

He made his move to Indian football with Real Kashmir FC, making a notable impact in the 2024–25 I-League season. Across 18 league appearances, Cézar featured regularly in the starting XI, registering eight goals and one assist, confirming his consistency in the Indian top flight.

Following his I-League campaign, Cézar continued his career in India with Howrah Hooghly Warriors, joining the club in late 2025. During his time with the Warriors, he established himself as a key figure in the attack, eventually earning his move to Sreenidi Deccan FC ahead of the 2025–26 Indian Football League season.
