Mohammedan SC will look to grab their first win of the season.

Mohammedan SC will host FC Goa in the Indian Super League (ISL) on 21st September 2024 at the Kishore Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata. Both teams have prepared very well for the season and will be looking to perform well. Mohammedan SC were last season’s I-League champions who got promoted to the ISL and will look to impress everyone in their debut season.

With the match being held at home Mohammedan’s fans will try to make Goa’s job significantly difficult by creating an intimidating environment for the away team with energetic chants. The Gaurs on the other hand will look to win some silverware this season as they missed out on the same last year. Moreover, with Manolo Marquez already under scrutiny after their opening loss to Jamshedpur FC, there will be huge expectations for them to perform well on the pitch.

FC Goa won the Bhausaheb Bandodkar Memorial Trophy 2024 in preseason, by beating Odisha FC in a penalty shootout and they will look to add more trophies to their cabinet as the season progresses.

Like their opponents, the Black and White Brigade have also signed commendable reinforcements in the summer transfer market with hopes of a good debut ISL season. Andrey Chernyshov’s men will also want to erase their shortcomings against NorthEast United FC in the opening game and look to earn something concrete from this game.
