Indian Football Calendar 2024: Major tournaments to look forward to in April

The Indian football season will reach its business end in the month of April.

After three months of power-packed footballing action, the Indian football calendar enters into the month of April with regular matches scheduled one after the other, throughout the 30 days.

Although the month of March had some hard memories for the fans of Indian football, who witnessed India’s loss to Afghanistan in the second round of FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, it’s time to move ahead and be the cheerleader of your favourite domestic clubs and see them achieve numerous records in the ongoing leagues. 

Here is a look at the full calendar for Indian Football in April 2024:

Indian Super League 2023-24

The Indian Super League is on the verge of conclusion with only a few rounds left to be played in the league stage. Total of 17 league matches have been scheduled to be played in the month of April. 

• April 1, 2024 – April 15, 2024 (League Stage Matches)

I-League 2023-24

The I-League season is also running towards its business end. With Mohammedan Sporting holding the top spot in the tournament, there are still a number of matches left which will finalize the top spot holder in the coming days of the month. In the month of April, a total of 16 matches will be played. 

• April 1, 2024 – April 13, 2024 (League Stage Matches)

I -League 2

As like the above two leagues, I-League 2 is also in the concluding phase. It will have around 20 matches in the month of April. 

• April 1, 2024 – April 21, 2024 (League Stage Matches) 

Indian Women’s League – 2

The Indian Women’s League 2 which began in March has two more matches scheduled in the month of April. 

• April 1, 2024 : Krida Prabodhini Academy, Pune vs Casa Barwani Soccer Club, Barwani
• April 1, 2024 : Sreebhumi FC, West Bengal vs Nita Football Academy, Odisha

AIFF Sub-Junior League 

The AIFF Sub-Junior League will have 25 matches in the month of April. 

• April 1, 2024 – April 28, 2024
