Odisha FC to play in Bhausaheb Bandodkar Memorial Trophy 2024
Odisha FC will be the second new ISL club to join the competition pool.
Odisha FC is delighted to announce its participation in the prestigious Bhausaheb Bandodkar Memorial Trophy, a tournament held in honour of Goaโs first Chief Minister, the Late Bhausaheb Bandodkar.
The tournament, scheduled to take place in Goa, will see the Kalinga Warriors battle it out against Chennaiyin FC (India), Clube Deportive Defensa y Justicia (Argentina), and Churchill Brothers FC (India) in Group B.
The Bhausaheb Bandodkar Memorial Trophy forms a crucial part of Odisha FCโs pre-season preparations. The tournament will provide the team with valuable match practice and an opportunity to fine-tune their strategies ahead of the upcoming season.
Head Coach, Sergio Lobera expressed the importance of the tournament, โI am very excited to participate in this tournament, I think it will help us a lot in this important period of pre-season to prepare the team in the best possible way for the start of the ISL (Indian Super League).
We will be able to compete against good rivals in a wonderful place like Goa.โ Odisha FCโs first team will be participating in the tournament. The club is eager to compete against strong opponents and showcase its talent on the field. The Juggernaut faithful can look forward to exciting matches as the team strives to make a strong impact in the tournament.
