Super League Kerala is back with a brand new season in 2026. The all new season has brought upon a lot of on field and off field changes.

On September 21, 2026, Super League Kerala (SLK) announced Zee Entertainment as their new broadcasting partner for the upcoming 2026 season.

The state will find itself being completely drenched in football action during the group phase of the league. The league is set to start on 25th September at 8:00 PM, with the first match being a repeat of the finals in the previous season, between the Kannur Warriors FC and Thrissur Magic FC.

Super League Kerala enter a new era

Following a successful 2025 season, Super League Kerala is entering a new phase in 2026 with changes around the league’s broadcasting. The previous season (2025) was broadcasted by Sony Sports Network, however now the league has a new broadcasting partner, as they welcome Zee Entertainment ahead of the 2026 season.

This move could help the league with greater visibility. At the same time, Zee can benefit majorly as they are growing their presence in football broadcasting through competitions such as the FIFA World Cup, Bundesliga, Serie A and Coppa Italia. The partnership with SLK, further highlights Zee’s expansion in football broadcasting.

SLK 2026 will also be streamed outside India, with the league set to be available in UAE through Etisalat. This clearly underlines the new era that SLK 2026 enters in its third season.

Teams participating

The same 6 teams that participated in the league in its previous season, will participate this time around. Those being: Kannur Warriors FC, Thrissur Magic FC, Calicut FC, Thiruvananthapuram Kombans FC, Forca Kochi FC & Malappuram FC.

The League will also feature exciting players that audience know and love, such as: Roy Krishna, Mailson Alves, Ishan Pandita etc. The schedule for the first half of the league is out and the first matchday will be played between 25th September – 27th September.

The rematch of the final between Kannur Warriors and Thrissur Magic will be the first match played on 25th, with the second match of the league being played between Calicut & Thiruvananthapuram Kombans on 26th September.

The final match of matchday 1 will be between Forca Kochi & Malappuram FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on 27th September.

Whether or not there will be a repeat champion, or a new one that will be crowned, only time will tell. Until then, it is important for the audience to enjoy the spectacles unfolding in front of us during the course of the league.

Super League Kerala (SLK) 2026 games will start on 25 September (2026), with the repeat of the final of last season.

The tournament will be livestreamed digitally on Zee5, alongside linear coverage on Unite8 Sports in India, with Etisalat bringing the action to audiences in the UAE.
