Khel Now understands that Calicut FC, the Super League Kerala 2024 season champions, have roped in Girik Khosla, ahead of the upcoming 2026-27 season, with the signing aimed to improve their whole squad.
The Indian attacker will add another option to the Calicut side as they look to build a good and competitive squad for the new campaign.
Khosla brings considerable experience in Indian football, having represented various clubs throughout his career. His wealth of experience has earned him an extended role, and he will now look to reach new heights with Calicut FC in the 2026-27 Super League Kerala season.
Having played 106 games in his entire career, Girik Khosla, designated with immense experience, has scored 13 goals and provided 11 assists and for Calicut FC, he can be a very vital player.

Girik Khosla joins Super League Kerala side Calicut FC, who won the inaugural SLK title in 2024. The club will now look to reclaim the crown in the third season of the competition after Kannur Warriors FC clinched the title last season.
Girik’s arrival must add something different. He is an Indian football player who can play in attacking positions, including as a forward and an attacking midfielder, and joined the youth setup of Mumbai and then played for Northeast United FC.
His arrival strengthens the Calicut FC squad with his valuable experience as the 31-year-old winger can play from both flanks and open the wing position, and create multiple chances through the half spaces, and is also comfortable scoring goals for his side.
He also won the I-League with Punjab in the 2017-18 season and had a great campaign to remember, which earned him a transfer to NorthEast United FC in ISL.
He also enjoyed some great spells with East Bengal, Sreenidi Deccan FC and Real Kashmir FC, and after some decent seasons with the respective clubs, he joined Diamond Harbour FC in 2024 and won the IFL last season under Kibu Vicuna and is now set to join Calicut FC for the upcoming season.
With Girik Khosla, Calicut FC have also announced the signing of Gani Nigam, who will feature for the southern side in the third season of the Super League Kerala.
The club will be aiming to reclaim the title and secure their second championship, with Nigam expected to add more productivity in the attacking third and operate in advanced positions alongside Khosla.
