Indian football summer transfer window to begin from June 12

Teams will look to bolster their squad in the Indian football summer transfer window.
The 2024-25 Indian football season came to an end with the finish of the 2025 Kalinga Super Cup. FC Goa defeated Jamshedpur FC in the final to win their first-ever Super Cup and also book a place in an AFC competition for the 2025-26 season.
The Indian football fans are now eagerly waiting for the summer transfer window to begin. Like every year, there is expected to be a lot of switch-ups in the squads of the different Indian Super League (ISL) teams.
This includes the arrival of new players, some domestic players switching up teams for a new destination and new foreign players being included in the squads.
When will the Indian football summer transfer window begin?
Khel Now can now confirm that the summer transfer window will officially be opening on June 12 for the Indian football teams.
This means from that date onwards, the teams can officially register new players into their squad and announce the acquisition of fresh faces as well.
The transfer window will close on 31 August, before which all new players must be registered by respective teams’ squads.
Mohun Bagan handed ban ahead of summer transfer window

All the Indian Super League teams are expected to be quite proactive in strengthening their squad in the upcoming transfer window. An interesting update dropped for Mohun Bagan recently. The Mariners have been suspended from registering new players into the squad by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) for the upcoming summer transfer window.
That means they need to be successful in an appeal to be able to overturn that verdict and make new signings in the summer window. Their rivals, East Bengal are expected to be busy in the summer window, as they look to fix up key areas of their squad to make a stronger push in the 2025-26 ISL campaign.
Punjab FC going for complete revamp
Punjab FC, for one, are planning something rather dramatic for the summer window. They are expected to release all their foreign players, meaning that the Shers might end up signing as many as six new foreign players to revamp their squad. They are also expected to make the signing of Muhammed Uvais from Jamshedpur FC in the summer window.
While most of the ISL teams are yet to show their cards for their summer transfer plans, things should start accelerate once the start of the summer window gets closer.
