Kalinga Super Cup: List of all winners

The Gaurs and the Red Miners hold the golden opportunity to win the title on Saturday.
The Kalinga Super Cup has been one of Indian football’s premier knockout competition which features teams from the Indian Super League (ISL) and the I-League. As the premier domestic knockout football competition, the Super Cup has grown in stature since replacing the historic Federation Cup in 2018.
Organised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), the Kalinga Super Cup has also grown in value for participating clubs. A victory in the Final also ensures qualification for the winners into the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League 2.
Here’s a look at the winners of the Kalinga Super Cup since its inception:
2018 – Bengaluru FC

In the inaugural edition held in Bhubaneswar, Bengaluru FC were crowned the inaugural title winners as they defeated East Bengal FC 4-1 in the Final. The Blues, then still part of the I-League, showcased their quality and depth to emerge as the first champions of the rebranded competition.
Goals from Rahul Bheke, Miku and a brace from Sunil Chhetri was enough to cancel out an early setback levied by East Bengal.
2019 – FC Goa
A dominant FC Goa side won the 2019 title with a 2-1 win over Chennaiyin FC in the final. Goals from Ferran Corominas and Brandon Fernandes was enough to negate Renato Augusto’s goal and win them their first Kalinga Super Cup title.
The Gaurs combined flair and precision to lift their first major trophy in Indian football and stand another chance of winning the Cup in 2025.

2024 – East Bengal FC
East Bengal FC successfully won their first title in 2024, defeating Odisha FC 3-2 after extra time in the Final, ending their 12-year wait for a national title. Goals from Nandha Kumar Sekar, Saul Crespo and Cleiton Silva helped them cancel out Ahmed Jahouh and Diego Mauricio goals for Odisha.
