Mumbai City have won their first match in Super Cup against Sporting Club Delhi.

Mumbai City FC look to take control of Group D of the 2025 Super Cup when they face a gritty Rajasthan United side at the Fatorda Stadium, Goa, on Monday (3 November 2025).

The Islanders are looking to strengthen their push to reach the semi-finals of the competition, while Rajasthan United look to pull off a shocker to keep their dreams alive of making it to the knockout rounds of the competition.

Rajasthan United actually put up a valiant effort in their Super Cup opener against Kerala Blasters, only suffering a loss because of a late goal. Robinson Blandon Jr was the marquee signing for Rajasthan United ahead of the 2025-26 season, and he made quite the impact for them in the 2025 Durand Cup. The Colombian forward scored twice in the Durand Cup for Rajasthan, guiding them to two major victories and playing a key role in helping them move into the knockout stages of the tournament. Blandon was unable to bring his heroics in the Super Cup opener, but he aims to be a thorn for the Mumbai City FC backline.

The 30-year-old striker will need to be smart with his overall movement and link-up play to confuse the opposition defenders and force them into uncomfortable situations. He will, although, be mostly tasked to getting at the end of the opportunities and finishing them off clinically to guide the Desert Warriors to a big win in the Super Cup.

Lallianzuala Chhangte (Mumbai City FC)

Lallianzuala Chhangte appears to be motivated in his role as the Mumbai City FC captain, and he produced a pretty sturdy effort in the win over Sporting Club Delhi as well. He will look to be an issue for the defenders with his speedy runs and clever output in the danger areas. Chhangte will be looking to sending in quality passes into the final third to feed big chances to his teammates. He will also be determined to get into more goal-scoring situations and use his lethal finishing ability to blow away the I-League side.
