The reverse fixtures of the Super League Kerala 2025 are off and running as the sixth-placed Forca Kochi lock horns against the fifth-placed Thiruvananthapuram Kombans for one last time at the Maharajas College Ground, Kochi, for the first matchday of the Round 7 fixtures of the Super League Kerala 2025.

If Kombans, who are currently with seven points, and Kannur and Malappuram, with nine points, somehow drop their points and do not cross 12 points, Forca Kochi has a chance of progressing forward.

Therefore, it would be best for Forca Kochi to treat all their matches as do-or-die and try to get all three points by a big margin, which could mitigate their accumulated negative goal difference and have a glimmer of hope of making it to two consecutive playoffs in the Super League Kerala.

Thiruvananthapuram Kombans

The Kombans, with two wins and a draw, are currently placed in fifth with seven points. Though currently placed in a spot that would eliminate them from the Super League Kerala 2025, a win would take the Kombans to third place with ten points.

If they consistently achieve positive results and score maximum points, they can potentially do wonders and turn the tables around. In their first meeting this season, Kombans defeated Forca Kochi 1-0.

Additionally, they will be boosted by their most recent 3-1 victory against the Kannur Warriors at their home, which broke their unbeaten streak in the Super League Kerala.

Forca Kochi have mutually parted ways with their head coach, Miquel Llado, after a disappointing 6-2 loss to Calicut FC, as the team failed to score even a single point so far in the Super League Kerala.

However, they will not be missing any players for the match against Thiruvananthapuram Kombans except the players who were ruled out in the first phase of the tournament, whose replacements have already been made by the team.

With four goals so far in the tournament, Autemar is the top scorer for the Kombans and is second in the Golden Boot race of the league.

With his impressive ability to press, force errors from opponents, and craft chances for his team, Autemar shone in the first edition of the Super League Kerala and was one of the foreign players who was retained by the Kombans for the second season.

In the previous match against Kannur Warriors FC, Autemar was involved in all three goals scored by Kombans, which ended the Warriors’ unbeaten run.

In the second half, Autemar came to full vigour and made a brilliant run and took a shot at goal, which was saved by the keeper, and was slotted into the back of the net by Jasim, who effectively capitalised on the rebound. Later, the striker kept lurking in the 18-yard area and was essentially the fox in the box for the Kombans.
