Kombans squeeze into the top four of Super League Kerala.

Thiruvananthapuram Kombans clinched a hard-fought 1-0 victory against the struggling Forca Kochi side on Saturday, at the Maharajas Stadium, on the first matchday of the Round 7 fixtures of the Super League Kerala.

In the first half, Kombans broke the deadlock off Kalid, who chipped in a through ball from Abdul Badish, over the keeper to provide Kombans with an early advantage. In the second half, both Kombans and Kochi were reduced to ten men as Rijohn and Sarif Khan were sent off by the referee following some rash challenges. Kombans succeeded in adding three more points to their tally at the end of a thrilling contest.
