Kannur Warriors FC vs Thrissur Magic FC live streaming: When & where to watch Super League Kerala 2026 match?

The second match week of SLK 2026 will start on 1st October.

The first game in the second match week of the Super League Kerala (SLK) 2026 is a clash between Thrissur Magic & Forca Kochi. The match will be played at the Corporation Stadium in Thrissur on 1st October, 2026.

The Magicians and the Forca Cruz have had two different stories so far in the SLK 2026. Thrissur lost the league opener to defending champions Kannur Warriors, whereas, Forca Kochi won their first match of the league’s campaign against Malappuram.

The opening matches for both the teams were incredibly close, considering both ended their matches with a score line of 1-0. Thrissur lost, as they conceded in the 18th minute of the game to a strike from Kannur forward Asier Gomes, and Kochi won courtesy of a late winner scored by Rahul Raju.

What to expect from this game?

The head-to-head between the teams speaks for itself, as this fixture has taken place 4 time prior to their meeting in the SLK 2026. From the 4 times both teams have faced each other, Forca Kochi have managed to win 2 games, both with a score line of 1-0. On the other hand, Thrissur Magic have also won 2 games, winning both games by a score line of 1-0 as well.

Kochi won both of their matches in the 2024 season and Thrissur won both of their matches in the 2025 season. So far, from the way both teams have played their first match in the league, the match seems to be a very close one.

Despite losing 1-0 in their opening game, David Caneda & his team were able to keep Kannur Warriors on their toes for the entirety of the 90 minutes. The team had more than 60% possession of the ball, as they tried to progress from the back as much as possible.

Thrissur’s biggest weakness seems to be goal scoring, as they took a total of 11 shots during their match against Kannur, while only 1 of those shots was on target.

In their first match of the SLK 2026, Forca Kochi had a much more difficult time against Malappuram FC, as their share of the possession was only 53%. Although Kochi took 12 shots in the game, only 4 were on target, suggesting their chances of conversion may not be as good as they should be.

The match can go in either direction, as both teams are more than capable of winning the match in the 90 minutes. Thrissur have a lot riding on this fixture, as they want to turn things around by getting points early and not be stuck in the midfield battle later on during the season.

Kochi will try their best to ensure they continue the momentum they carry from their first match. Though Kochi is ahead on points and on the table, facing Thrissur can prove to one of the most difficult challenges faced by the team.
