Calicut FC
Calicut FC, having won all their games so far, will be looking forward to remaining consistent and securing all three points against one of their arch rivals, Forca Kochi FC.
While the former champions are now in a comfortable position in the league table as far as the playoffs are concerned, Calicut would be hungry for more wins as that would help them to cement their position at the top of the table, which would crown them as the Super League Kerala shield winners, a trophy introduced this season.
Forca Kochi FC
Forca Kochi FC have stakes almost as high as Calicut FC. With 8 points, they remain in second position, three points behind Calicut in the league table.
While a penalty win would not make any changes in the table, a win in 90 minutes for Forca Kochi would put them on par with Calicut in terms of points, and Forca Kochi could overthrow Calicut to regain the top position in terms of goal difference and reignite their hopes for the maiden Super League Kerala Shield.

Player to Watch Out For
Calicut FC – Federico Boasso Fleury
The Argentine midfielder of Calicut FC, Federico Boasso Fleury, will be Calicut FC’s player to watch in their match against Forca Kochi FC. Federico has been in one of his best forms in the Super League Kerala 2026, orchestrating almost all the wins for the former champions.
In the season opener, Boasso dictated the tempo from the centre of the park, and his wing attacks breached the Kombans’ defence early in the 22nd minute when he pulled off a sharp move to assist on their first goal. Later, in almost all the games, Boasso had a key role in Calicut’s games.
In the last game against Kannur Warriors FC, despite Calicut being one man down, a fine left-footer from the edge of the box found the corner of the net and made all the difference. In
Forca Kochi FC – Jaimy Joy
The Forca Kochi keeper will be the key player to watch out for against Calicut FC. The keeper has been excellent for Kochi this season between the sticks and has made his presence felt by stepping in whenever the team needed him.
Jaimy was the player of the match in Forca Kochi’s game against Thrissur Magic as his performance in the regulation time and penalties helped the Forca Cruz craft a victory. In the last game against Kombans, Jaimy stood tall in the back and helped his side clinch a clean sheet.
While facing Calicut FC, a side that boasts a potent attacking unit, Jaimy will have a busy day at the goal and his performance will be critical in determining how the result will turn around.
