Super League Kerala 2026: Updated points table, top scorers after Forca Kochi FC vs Malappuram FC

Forca Kochi got their first win of the Super League Kerala 2026 against Malappuram FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi.
The match ended with a score line of 1-0, as Rahul Raju scored a last-ditch long range shot straight at the keeper, who ended up mishandling the ball, which then crawled its way into the goal.
The match seemed to be very even and looked like it was going to go to penalties. Assuming the match was ending in a draw and going to penalties, Malappuram FC decided to take off their custodian Arbaz for Devansh Dabas.
The decision proved to be a mistake as Forca Kochi’s Rahul Raju decided to take a gamble with a long distance shot, similar to the one he took earlier in the game, only this time around, the substitute was not able to catch the ball properly, leading to a goal.

With the match between Forca Kochi & Malappuram ending in a 1-0 defeat for Malappuram, the table saw a change. The Kochi based team found themselves 2nd in the table with a goal difference the same as Kannur Warriors.
In other matches of match week 1, Kannur Warriors FC beat Thrissur Magic with a score line of 1-0. The only goal of the game was scored by Asier Gomes in the 17th minute of the game. Kannur beat Thrissur despite the losing side having more than 60% of the possession. The match saw Kannur be top of the table with a goal difference of +1.
Kannur remained on top until 26th September, when Calicut FC beat the Thiruvananthapuram Kombans 2-0 at the EMS Coporation Stadium in Calicut. The two goals for Calicut were scored by Prashanth K and Maxmiliano Nicolas. With this win, Calicut saw themselves move atop the table with a goal difference of +2.
