In the second match of the Super League Kerala, Thrissur Magic FC hosted Kannur Warriors FC in a thrilling encounter at the Manjeri Payyanad Stadium. Kannur Warriors FC opened the second half with a high-press attacking strategy, but the defence of Thrissur Magic FC, led by the experienced Mailson Alves, held firm against the relentless pressure. Despite several failed attempts to break through, Kannur maintained their momentum and continued to push forward.

Their persistence paid off in the 70th minute when Spanish forward David Grande found the back of the net, leveling the score and boosting Kannur’s confidence. The goal energized the team, and their attacks became even more dangerous.

The game took a dramatic turn when Thrissur’s Hendry Antonay was shown a red card for a challenge while attempting to stop a dangerous Kannur Warriors’ attack, leaving Thrissur Magic FC down to 10 men. In the additional time of the second half, Kannur’s foreign defender Alvaro Alvares sealed the win with a crucial goal, handing Kannur Warriors FC their first victory of the Super League Kerala.
