42 goals have been scored so far at the end of Round 6 in the Super League Kerala 2025.

The footballing identity and culture of Kerala have undergone a massive transformation ever since the inception of their flagship franchise tournament, Super League Kerala. The two-month-long fest, which features six star-studded teams, is a carnival for the football-crazy state.

As the 2025 season league stage hits its stride, a handful of prolific forwards have risen above the rest, consistently finding the back of the net and defining the fate of their teams in Super League Kerala 2025.

Here is a look at the top five goal scorers currently leading in the Super League Kerala Golden Boot race at the end of Round 6.

5. Mailson Alves (Thrissur Magic FC) – 2 Goals

The Thrissur Magic FC captain, Mailson Alves, has essentially been their backbone in the Super League Kerala 2025. The Brazilian, though a defender on paper, has demonstrated his attacking prowess and contributed to two out of the six goals scored by Thrissur in the league so far.

Along with marshalling the defence and keeping the backline impenetrable, Mailson has ventured deep into the final third and displayed his uncanny ability to score during set-pieces, rising above the opponents.

Malison’s first goal came against the defending Super League Kerala champions, Calicut FC, where he scored a prolific header in the first half to secure the solitary goal of the match to earn all three points for his team. In the very next game, the defender once again headed the ball into the back of the net against Thiruvananthapuram Kombans, helping his side register yet another 1-0 victory.

4. Prashant K (Calicut FC) – 3 Goals

The former Kerala Blasters striker, Prashant K, after a title-winning season with Inter Kashi in the I-League, signed for his local club Calicut FC ahead of the Super League Kerala 2025, as the club captain, where the striker is currently creating wonders. With four goals in six matches, Prashant is currently in a red-hot form for the defending champions.

Prashant scored his first goal of the season in the numero uno clash in Super League Kerala against Malappuram FC, where his crucial goal helped his side get a 3-3 draw. Later, he scored two stellar goals against Forca Kochi at the Maharajas College Ground, which laid the foundation for a dominant victory over the hosts with a scoreline of 6-2.

Prashant, along with being a top contender for the Golden Boot, is also leading among the top assist providers this season, with three assists to his name, which adds up to a total of seven goal contributions in six matches for Calicut FC.

The versatile Brazilian striker of the Kombans, Autemar Bispo, having netted four goals so far, is the top goal scorer for Thiruvananthapuram. Autemar is currently the third-highest goal scorer in the league. In the inaugural season of the SLK, Autemar was the joint second top scorer of the league with four goals. The Brazilian was one among the foreign players who were retained by the Kombans for the second season.

This season, Autemar immediately proved his impact, scoring against Kannur Warriors in their season opener. Later, in their match against Malappuram FC, Autemar’s second-half goal helped the Kombans to settle for stale stalemate and earn a crucial point. In their reverse fixture against Kannur, Autemar scored two quick goals to break the Warriors’ unbeaten streak in the Super League Kerala 2025.

2. John Kennedy (Malappuram FC) – 5 Goals

John Kennedy is arguably one of the best international players in the Super League Kerala and has now become a fan favourite. The striker played a key role in making Calicut FC champions in the inaugural season. He signed for Malappuram FC ahead of the 2025 season, where he has made an instant impact on the Malappuram roster with his ability to play centrally and on the wings.

Kennedy links up excellently with the Fijian international striker, Roy Krishna, and with some brilliant combination plays, he creates chances for his team, making him a constant threat to defenders. This season, Kennedy made his first impact in the match against Thrissur Magic FC, where he came on as a substitute and rewrote the script of the game.

In their Northern Derby clash against Calicut FC, despite all odds, Kennedy’s game awareness led his team to a comeback from a losing position. In their match against the Kombans, Kennedy came in just after the break and scored the solitary goal in the 69th minute.

In the 4-1 victory against Forca Kochi, the striker found the back of the net twice. He was again on the score sheet against Thrissur in their last outing. His silky moves to score the equaliser for Malappuram made him the joint top scorer of the league.
