Khalid Jamil will be eager to replicate what he did against Tajikistan in the opening fixture of the CAFA Nations Cup 2025. The newly appointed coach masterminded India’s first win in 17 years against Tajikistan, that too at their home, in front of a hostile crowd. It will be a massive feat for the Blue Tigers if they beat Oman. That would be the second win in quick succession against sides which have historically dominated then.
