Some Indian players have emerged as standout performers, seizing the spotlight with their exceptional skills and determination. Fans have been swept off their feet witnessing the stellar performances of these local talents, who have risen to the occasion.
Their impressive displays have not only entertained but also sparked hopes of securing spots in the prestigious Indian National football team. Indian Super League(ISL) – Matchday 17 and 18
Vishnu PV – 8
Vishnu PV had a mixed bag in East Bengal’s recent ISL matches. He scored a record-breaking 32-second goal against Odisha but East Bengal lost. His performances against Goa were also commendable.
Tekcham Abhishek Singh – 7.5
Abhishek showcased remarkable strength and versatility for Punjab FC, contributing defensively and offensively against Hyderabad, Mumbai City FC, and NorthEast United FC, proving his solid presence on the field.
Parthib Gogoi – 7.5
Parthib’s notable performance on the wings against Hyderabad FC, including a goal on Matchday 18, displayed his effectiveness. His solid performance against Punjab FC further highlighted his overall quality on the field.
Ankit Mukherjee – 7.5
Ankit Mukherjee exhibited composed displays as a right-back for Chennaiyin FC, showcasing his ability to maintain control and solidity against East Bengal and Odisha FC.
Puitea – 7.5
The midfielder delivered an impressive performance against both East Bengal and Chennaiyin, despite Odisha’s loss to Chennaiyin FC, showcasing his prowess and impact on the pitch.
Nikhil Prabhu – 7
Prabhu has emerged as a standout player for Punjab, displaying his talent in recent matches against Hyderabad, Mumbai City FC, and NorthEast United FC, making significant contributions to the team’s performance. However, his performance was marred by receiving two yellow cards each against Mumbai and NorthEast United FC.
Boris Singh Thangjam – 7
Boris Singh’s recent performances have been average. He faced difficulties against Mumbai and East Bengal FC and was substituted in both matches.
Amey Ranawade – 7
Ranawade has been a solid presence for Odisha FC, excelling at the full-back position by effectively guarding the right flank and contributing to the team’s defensive stability.
Jay Gupta – 6.5
Jay Gupta’s recent performances fell below expectations, particularly struggling against Mumbai and delivering a somewhat improved ability against East Bengal FC.
Valpuia – 6.5
Was brought in to cover for Rahul Bheke against Punjab and did a satisfactory job.
I League – Matchday 18 and 19
Akashdeep Singh – 8/10
He scored crucial goals in the dying minutes against Delhi and Gokulam Kerala, delivering top-notch performances.
Lalchungnunga Chhangte – 7.5/10
Chhangte scored two goals each in Matchday 18 and 19 against Shillong Lajong and Inter Kashi.
Mohammed Asif Khan – 6.5/10
Asif’s goal for Inter Kashi solidified his pivotal role within the team, showcasing his importance and contribution.
