High demand for Indian National Football Team Jersey ahead of the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017

The last Indian official jersey was on sale way back in 2012. Indian football has moved forward drastically and deserves its new identity. 

The preparations for India’s first FIFA tournament are in full swing under the careful guidance of Javier Ceppi and Joy Bhattacharjya but the Indian football fans are making their presence felt on the social media with 2 months ahead before the tournament kicks off.

While the fans in Delhi are rejoicing the fact that India will play all their group stage matches in their home, but fans across the country are ensuring that they too support team in their best capacities.

A group of football fans have written to Nike and the All India Football Federation in a petition, requesting to start sale of jerseys of Indian National Football Team. The petition has 77 supporters till now but the fans are really hoping to grab the Indian team jersey as they prepare to sing the Indian National Anthem for the first time in a FIFA Tournament.

FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017 kicks off on October 06, 2017 and will be played across six venues in New Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Guwahati, Goa, Kochi and Kolkata that will host the finals on October 28, 2017.

The tournament will be telecast live on Sony Six.
