The current Indian Super League (ISL) and I-League season has electrified fans with thrilling action. Some Indian players have emerged as standout performers, seizing the spotlight with their exceptional skills and determination. Fans have been swept off their feet witnessing the stellar performances of these local talents, who have risen to the occasion.

Their impressive displays have entertained and sparked hopes of securing spots in the prestigious Indian National football team. With each match, these players showcase their potential and hunger for success, leaving a long-lasting impression on both spectators and selectors alike. As the season progresses, anticipation mounts, and we at Khel Now take a look at the new faces that can don the Indian National Team’s jersey soon.

Indian Super League(ISL) – Matchday 19

Sajad Hussain Parray – 7.5

Despite languishing at the league’s bottom, Hyderabad FC secured a crucial victory over Chennaiyin FC, thanks to Sajad’s decisive goal. The Nizams’ all-Indian squad defied the odds, showcasing their resilience and skill.

Vibin Mohanan – 7.5

In a thrilling 4-3 battle, Vibin netted a goal for Kerala Blasters against Mohun Bagan, yet it fell short as the latter secured all points. Despite the loss, Mohanan’s stellar performance shone throughout the match.

Jithin M.S – 7.5

Jithin emerged as the lone standout for NorthEast United FC during their lopsided defeat to Mumbai City FC. Despite Jithin’s goal for The Highlanders, it proved insufficient against Mumbai’s dominance.

Ravi Kumar – 6.5

Despite conceding three goals against FC Goa, the Punjab goalkeeper has displayed remarkable prowess, saving six shots and dominating aerial battles to disrupt Goa’s attack. His commanding presence proved vital, showcasing his resilience and determination amidst the challenging match.

Abhishek Suryavanshi – 7

Substituting for Sahal Abdul Samad, the player made a significant impact for Mohun Bagan Super Giant, aiding the team’s comeback to secure all three points. His contribution was instrumental in turning the tide.

Jay Gupta – 7

Jay Gupta has been instrumental in both defensive solidity and offensive prowess for his team against Punjab and Bengaluru FC. His all-around performance highlights his versatility and impact on the pitch, contributing significantly to the team’s success in both aspects of the game.

Shivaldo Singh – 7

Shivaldo’s standout moment came as he scored the solitary goal for Bengaluru FC in their match against FC Goa, despite the team ultimately facing defeat. His performance deserves recognition, showcasing determination, and skill amidst a challenging game.

Abhishek Singh – 6

Abhishek entered the game in the 61st minute and delivered a steady performance on the right flank. While not outstanding, his contribution was solid, providing stability and support to the team’s efforts during his time on the field.

Mohammed Azhar – 6

Azhar’s entry in the 61st minute offered some much-needed stability to Kerala Blasters against Mohun Bagan, but unfortunately, they couldn’t secure the victory despite his efforts.

Parthib Gogoi – 5

Parthib Gogoi’s performance in Gameweek 19 stands out as disappointing. Coming on late when his team was already trailing 3-0 against Mumbai City FC, his actions, including a nudge to Apuia and involvement in a brawl, led to a red card from the referee, further worsening his team’s situation.

I-League – Matchday 20 and 21

Muhammad Ajsal – 8

Scored two goals against TRAU to help Inter Kashi register a big win.

Lalchungnunga Chhangte – 6.5

Lalchungnunga Chhangte added another one to his tally against Neroca FC.

Harmanpreet Singh – 6

Harmanpreet’s goal was not enough for his side Namdhari to clinch the victory against TRAU on Matchday 21.
