Indian Football Team Player Watch: Lallianzuala Chhangte, Mehtab Singh impress; Anwar Ali needs to improve

A few Indian football team players have shown some spirited performances this week in ISL.
Khel Now is back with another analysis of the Indian football team players. This time the names of 25 players who represented the nation in the match against Malaysia in an international friendly have been listed again.
This report has been prepared based on the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 Game Week 21 to keep the players’ performance updated while keeping an eye on the upcoming international assignments.

Amrinder Singh – 7
Amrinder was in action twice this week and he failed to keep a clean sheet on both occasions this week in ISL. However, he made eight saves, including four from inside the box while recording one clearance and key pass each.
Aakash Sangwan – 7

Sangwan made five interceptions and two tackles. He also committed a penalty and lost ball possession nine times. The left-back executed two key passes and maintained a passing accuracy of 85% this week in ISL.
Anwar Ali – 6.5
Anwar returned to action after a long break. He completed 89% of his passes while winning all of his aerial duels.
Asish Rai – 7
He made two clearances and one block this week in ISL. Rai won the majority of his aerial and ground duels while maintaining a passing accuracy of 82%.
Brandon Fernandes – 7.5
Brandon racked up an assist this week and helped Mumbai City FC clinch an important victory. He executed three key passes and made three clearances and one tackle as well.
Chinglensana Singh Konsham – 7.5
Sana’s heroics helped Bengaluru FC keep a clean sheet after a long haul this week in ISL. He made six clearances and two blocks while winning the majority of his aerial duels.
Edmund Lalrindika – NA
Farukh Chaudhary – 6.5
Farukh completed 80% of his passes and won 1/1 aerial duel.
Gurpreet Singh Sandhu – NA
Jeakson Singh Thounaojam – 7
Jeakson maintained a passing precision of 89% and executed one key pass in th process. He also recorded three clearances, one interception and tackle each.
Lalengmawia – NA
Lallianzuala Chhangte – 8

Chhangte was in fine form against NorthEastUnited this week in ISL. He scored a goal and executed three key passes while maintaining a passing accuracy of 84%. He also recorded two shots on target and tackles each alongwith three clearances.
Liston Colaco – 7.5
Liston racked up an assist while executing two key passes. He created one big chance and also had a shot on target. Colaco won six duels and made one clearance.
Manvir Singh – 7
Manvir executed one key pass and created one big chance as well. He won the majority of his duels and recorded three tackles, one interception and one clearance each.
Mehtab Singh – 8
Mehtab made ten clearances, the most by any defender this week in ISL. He also completed 91% of his passes and executed one key pass while making an interception.
Rahul Bheke – 7

Bheke made five clearances, one block and interception each and helped the Blues keep a clean sheet. He completed 83% of his passes, including 3/4 long balls.
Roshan Singh Naorem – 7
Roshan operated on both the flanks. He made five clearances and three interceptions along with one tackle. Singh also executed one key pass.
Subhasish Bose – 6.5
Bose lost ball possession 14 times against Punjab FC. He executed 78% of his passes to perfection and registered two clearances, one block and one tackle each.
Suresh Singh Wangjam – 7
Suresh completed 75% of his passes while winning 6/9 ground duels. Wangjam made three tackles, one interception and one block each and also won a penalty for his side.
Vishal Kaith – 7
Vishal Kaith added one more clean sheet to his tally. He recorded one save, punch out and clearance each.
Thoiba Singh – 7

He played two games this week where he made seven clearances, three interceptions and one block. Thoiba won the majority of his ground and aerial duels while maintaining a passing precision of 85%.
Hmingthanmawia Ralte – 7.5
Valpuia gave a good account of himself against NorthEast United. Four clearances, three tackles and one interception while registering one shot on target and winning the majority of his ground duels.
Sandesh Jhingan – 7
Hingan made three clearances and blocks each along with two interceptions. He won all of his aerial duels and maintained a passing accuracy of 92%.
Jithin MS – 7
Jithin executed four key passes and registered two shots off-target. He also made a tackle and won six ground duels.
Vibin Mohanan – NA
Irfan Yadwad – 8
Yadwad created a big chance and recorded an assist in the process. He won 12/15 ground duels and made seven tackles, one clearance and one interception each.
