Indian Football Team Player Watch: Lallianzuala Chhangte, Subhasish Bose impress; Manvir Singh needs to improve

A few Indian football team players have shown some spirited performances this week in ISL.

Khel Now is back with another analysis of the Indian football team players. This time the names of 25 players who represented the nation in the match against Malaysia in an international friendly have been listed again.

This report has been prepared based on the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 Game Week 22 to keep the players’ performance updated while keeping an eye on the upcoming international assignments.

The performances of the 23 players will continue until Game Week 22 of ISL.

Amrinder Singh – 7

He conceded one goal but helped his side secure an important win with one save, punch out and high claim each this week in ISL.. Amrinder also came off his line once to clear away the danger.

Aakash Sangwan – NA

Anwar Ali – 7

Ali made two clearances along with one interception, a block each. He also made a goal-line clearance and won all of his aerial duels and had one shot on target this week in ISL. 

Asish Rai – NA

Brandon Fernandes – 6.5

Brandom completed 89% of his passes, including one key pass. He also made one block.

Chinglensana Singh Konsham – NA

Farukh Chaudhary – 7

Farukh executed two key passes while winning the majority of his ground duels and making one block this week in ISL..

Gurpreet Singh Sandhu – NA

Lalengmawia – 7

Apuia won eight ground duels and one aerial duel while making seven tackles, two clearances and one interception. He attempted five passes into the final third and made three ball recoveries.

Lallianzuala Chhangte – 8

Chhangte scored one goal and completed 2/2 dribbles. He completed 87% of his passes and also made an interception. Moreover, he won the penalty that he converted.

Liston Colaco – 7.5

Liston racked up an assist as Mohun Bagan ran riot against Kerala Blasters this week in ISL.. He created two chances and made five passes into the final third while winning six duels.

Manvir Singh – 6.5

Manvir did not have a good game. He made just two clearances and interceptions each alongside one tackle. He won the majority of his duels but lost ball possession 12 times. 

Mehtab Singh – 7

He completed 81/90 passes, but lost ball possession 12 times and made an error that led to a goal for the opposition side. He also made four clearances, two interceptions and one block.

Rahul Bheke –  NA

Roshan Singh Naorem – NA

Subhasish Bose – 8

Bose made six clearances, including one clearance off the line. He also made four blocks, three interceptions and two tackles while winning the majority of his duels this week in ISL..

Suresh Singh Wangjam – NA

Vishal Kaith – 7.5

Vishal Kaith clinched his record 13th clean sheet of the season this week in ISL and made one save and two punch-outs in the process.

Thoiba Singh – 7

Thoiba came off the bench and provided an assist. He completed 79% of his passes and executed one key pass.

Hmingthanmawia Ralte – 7

Valpuia made four tackles, two clearances and interceptions each. He won 5/8 ground duels and executed 89% of his passes to perfection. 

Sandesh Jhingan – 7

Jhingan made four clearances, three interceptions, one block and tackle each. He completed 32/36 passes with an accuracy of 89%.

Jithin MS – NA

Vibin Mohanan – 7

Vibin maintained a passing precision of 91% while completing 31/35 passes. He made one clearance and tackle each as well.

Irfan Yadwad – 6.5

Irfan executed just one key pass. He had two shots on target and missed one big chance in the process. Moreover, he lost ball possession 23 times.
