Some Indian football team players were impressive in the recent ISL game week.

Khel Now is back with another analysis of the Indian football team players. This time the names of 23 players who represented the nation in the match against Vietnam in an international friendly have been listed.

This report has been prepared based on the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 Game week 6 to keep the players’ performance updated, while keeping an eye on the upcoming international friendly against Malaysia.

The performances of the 36 players till the Game week 6 of ISL

Aakash Sangwan – 8

Aakash Sangwan had a good outing in FC Goa’s 2-2 draw against Chennaiyin FC. The left-back provided an assist and recorded 5 tackles, two blocks and a clearance and interception each. He also maintained a passing accuracy of 80%.

Lallianzuala Chhangte – 7.5

The Mumbai City FC skipper gave a good account of himself in his side’s 1-1 draw against Odisha FC. He set up his teammate for the equalizer and recorded an assist, his first goal contribution of the season. He completed 87% of his passes and also executed two key passes.

Gurpreet Singh Sandhu – 7.5

Gurpreet had a busy shift in Bengaluru FC’s away win against Kerala Blasters. He made five saves, including two saves from inside the box. He also made two punch-outs and clearances each.

Anwar Ali – 7

Anwar made eight clearances, one block, interception and tackle each. He completed 88% of his passes and executed a key pass. He also won 50% of his ground duels.

Jeakson Singh Thounaojam – 7

Jeakson had a decent game, but couldn’t prevent his side from ending up on the losing side. He completed 88% of his passes, including a key pass. Moreover, he made three clearances and one interception as well.

Lalrinliana Hnamte – 7

Hnamte had a busy shift in the middle of the park as Chennaiyin FC shared spoils with FC Goa. He 27/31 passes with an accuracy of 87%, won two ground duels and executed five interceptions, four clearances and two blocks.

Mehtab Singh – 7

Mehtab had a decent outing for Mumbai City FC this week. He made just one clearance and two tackles and also won all of his ground duels. He completed 59/68 passes and also executed a key pass.

Farukh Chaudhary – 6.5

Farukh completed 82% of his passes and also executed a key pass. He had a shot on target and also made an interception. But, lost ball possession seven times.

Nikhil Poojary – 6.5

Poojary put up an average performance at the right-back position for Bengaluru FC. He only completed 64% of his passes and lost ball possession 15 times. But, he did make a tackle, and two interceptions. 

Rahul Bheke – 6.5

Bheke made four clearances and two tackles but also gave away a penalty. He lost the ball nine times and maintained an average passing accuracy of 76%. 

Roshan Singh Naorem – 6.5

Roshan had a poor outing against the Blasters. He did make five important defensive contributions but lost ball possession 18 times. Moreover, he only completed 70% of his passes.

Suresh Singh Wangjam – 6.5

Suresh completed 32/37 passes with an accuracy of 86%. He won four ground duels and three fouls while making clearances. He also lost the ball on 11 occasions.

Vikram Partap Singh – 6.5

Vikram displayed an average performance this week. He had a shot on target. But, he could only complete 9/14 passes, conceded a foul and lost the ball 10 times.
