Many Indian football team players played some good football this match week in ISL.

Khel Now is back with another analysis of the Indian football team players. This time the names of 25 players who represented the nation in the match against Malaysia in an international friendly have been listed again.

This report has been prepared based on the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 Game Week 9 to keep the players’ performance updated, while keeping an eye on the upcoming international assignments.

The performances of the 23 players till the Game Week 9 of ISL.

Amrinder Singh – 8

Amrinder had a great outing this week. He was involved in the thick of things and a busy shift for the Juggernauts. He kept a clean sheet in his side’s 0-6 triumph over Hyderabad FC and pulled off seven saves, including five saves from inside the box.

Aakash Sangwan – NA

Anwar Ali – NA

Asish Rai – NA

Brandon Fernandes – 7

Brandon Fernandes had a decent outing this week, but couldn’t prevent his team from a shambolic defeat. He came off the bench in the second half and completed 91% of his passes.

Chinglensana Singh Konsham – 7

Chinglensana Singh put up a good shift at the back for Bengaluru FC. He made five clearances and one block while completing 61/72 of his passes, including a key pass. 

Edmund Lalrindika – 8 

Edmund got off to a flying start in the latest edition of the I-league. He scored the lone goal in his side’s 1-0 win over Sporting Club Bengaluru and took his side over the line.

Farukh Chaudhary – 6.5

He did not have much to do this week. He had an average outing and failed to make any impact. Farukh completed 73% of his passes and also executed a key pass. He also had two shots blocked.

Gurpreet Singh Sandhu – 7

Gurpreet failed to keep a clean sheet for the third consecutive game. He made three saves, including a save from inside the box. He also executed a key pass. 

Jeakson Singh Thounaojam – NA

Lalengmawia – 7

Apuia was busy in the middle of the park as Mohun Bagan secured a 3-0 win over Jamshedpur FC. He completed 81% of his passes and also won the majority of his duels. He made one clearance, block and tackle each.

Lallianzuala Chhangte – 6.5

Chhangte had an average outing this week. He had just one shot on target and also lost the ball 14 times in just 60 minutes. He was taken off in the second half and also maintained poor passing accuracy. 

Liston Colaco – 8

Liston Colaco was one of the best-performing Indian players this week. He lit up the stage and scored a wonder goal against Jamshedpur FC. His swift movements on the left flank troubled the opponents big time. He also has three shots on target.

Manvir Singh – 8

Manvir has a fantastic game this week. He was calling the shots and helped the Mariners secure a crucial win. The Indian international created two of the three goals for his side and tore Jamshedpur FC apart with his attacking prowess.

Mehtab Singh – 7

Mehtab couldn’t prevent his side from conceding three goals at home against Punjab FC. However, he maintained a very good passing precision of close to 90%. He made two interceptions and tackles each while winning 4/4 of his ground duels.

Rahul Bheke – 7

Rahul Bheke also gave a good account of himself this week. He stood tall like a rock at the back for the Blues and did not let Mohammedan SC have a go at his goal. Bheke made five clearances, two interceptions and a block while winning all of his aerial duels.

Roshan Singh Naorem – 7

Roshan also had an eventful outing this week. He worked his socks off the left side and made bombing runs forward and also came back to defend as and when required. He made five clearances, two tackles and a block. 

Subhasish Bose – 7

The Mohun Bagan skipper completed 86% of his passes while making two clearances, one tackle and interception each. He won 5/10 of his duels and executed two key passes.

Suresh Singh Wangjam – 6.5

Suresh executed 21/27 of his passes to perfection and made a block as well. He won all of his aerial duels and the majority of ground duels. 

Vishal Kaith – 7

Vishal managed to record yet another clean sheet in the league. He made three punches, two saves and also a high claim. Kaith executed three clearances and won 1/1 of his ground duels.

Thoiba Singh – 7.5

Thoiba made four clearances and interceptions each alongside two blocks. He won the ball cleanly on most occasions and maintained a passing accuracy of 91%.

Hmingthanmawia Ralte – 6.5

Valpuia put up a disappointing performance this season. He wasn’t very active and made just two interceptions and a tackle while losing the ball possession 10 times. 

Sandesh Jhingan – NA

Jithin MS – 6.5

Jithin MS also had a quiet outing this week. He was taken off in the second half as NorthEast United were reduced to 10 men. He won 2/2 of his ground duels and executed 75% of his passes.

Vibin Mohanan – 8

Vibin put up a fantastic display in the week gone by. He displayed mature gameplay and handled the pressure well. He ended the game with a passing precision of 86%, including three key passes. He made three tackles, one block and one interception each.

Irfan Yadwad – 7

Irfan had one shot on target and one blocked shot against the Kerala Blasters. He maintained a passing accuracy of 80%, including four key passes. He won six duels and also made a clearance.
