The SAFF U-18 Women's Championship 2022 edition begins on March 15 with hosts India playing Nepal in the opening match of the tournament. With just three days remaining prior to the competition's kick-off in Jamshedpur, there were doubts regarding the broadcast of the tournament.
However, fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief. Kushal Das, the General Secretary of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) confirmed to Khel Now that India's matches in the tournament will be live-streamed on the Indian Football Facebook page.
India finished runner-up in the previous edition after losing the final 0-1 against Bangladesh. The young Tigresses had also finished third in the inaugural edition in 2018. In both previous editions, Bangladesh emerged as the champions. But with the latest edition taking place in the country, India will want to break the final hurdle and clinch the title.

It is unlikely that the youth tournament will be telecast live on television. But like the previous edition, football fans can once again catch all the action live on the Indian Football Facebook page. On Saturday, Kushal Das confirmed that India's matches will be streamed live on Facebook.
While India begin their campaign on the opening day, they will also be in action on March 19, 21 and 25 respectively. All three teams will face each other twice in the league stage with the top two advancing to the final.
