The 19-year-old made his full debut for the Blue Tigers in a friendly against Tajikistan back in June and helped his side secure a 1-1 draw on the night. Pramveer has experience of playing in national colours since 2023, as he represented the Blue Colts in the U-17, U-20, and U-23 age groups.
With respect to his club career, the centre-back made the move from Punjab FC to NorthEast United over the summer. Pramveer made his debut for the Highlanders in the recently concluded Durand Cup and with age on his side, the youngster’s career trajectory will only go upwards from here.
Macarton Nickson

Moving from one NorthEast United player to another, it is safe to say Macarton Nickson’s stock has risen significantly since he made his debut for the Indian Super League (ISL) club back in 2023. The defensive midfielder has helped his club win the Durand Cup twice and has 68 appearances for the Highlanders.
Macarton Nickson has represented India’s U-23 football team before making four appearances for the senior side. The 22-year-old’s last international cap came in the 3-1 loss to Tajikistan, and his presence in the team will be crucial against the likes of Panama, Brazil and Uruguay.

Abhishek Singh Tekcham is probably the most exciting youngster in the Indian football team at the moment. The wingback is another player that represented India in the age bracket before playing for the Blue Tigers.
Currently a part of Mohun Bagan Super Giant, Abhishek played six games in the 2026 Durand Cup. Abhishek’s last appearance for India came in March in the 2-1 win over Hong Kong, where the youngster put on a commendable performance in the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.

Ricky Meetei made 7 appearances in the 2025-26 ISL season for BFC, helping his club to four wins. While he might not start games, expect Ricky to come on in the second half for Abhishek Singh Tekcham if his team would need his services.
