Ticket details for Intercontinental Cup 2024

The Intercontinental Cup opener will be the first competitive clash of the Manolo Marquez era.
Indian football team are all set for their first game against Mauritius in the Intercontinental Cup 2024 campaign on September 3rd at the GMCB Stadium in Gachibowli. This highly anticipated campaign will be under the watchful eyes of the Indian football fraternity especially to find out whether the Indian football team can cope without the presence of India’s recently-retired all-time top scorer Sunil Chhetri.
All tickets for the much-anticipated Intercontinental Cup matches between India, Mauritius, and Syria are now live on Ticketgenie. The first home game for the Blue Tigers will be held on Thursday, September 3rd, 2024, at the GMCB Stadium in Gachibowli, Hyderabad.
Two international heavyweights have been invited for this series as the AIFF will be evaluating how newly-appointed national team manager, Manolo Marquez, fares with the provided setup. Both Syria and Mauritius will prove to be formidable teams for India, who will want to make a statement of intent with wins over the two sides.
The tournament will be a short format overall featuring just three games. India will host Mauritius on 3rd September to inaugurate the commencement of the series, while Syria and Mauritius will lock horns on 6th September. The series will end with the hosts, India, facing Syria on 9th September.
The Indian team will be playing its first formal game after Sunil Chhetri’s departure, and the Blue Tigers’ fans will need to flock to the stadiums to provide the unwavering support that they have always been known for. It will be all the more important for the fans to create an intimidating atmosphere for the visiting opposition to demoralize them and invigorate India’s national team, signaling their never-ending allegiance.
Seating at the GMCB Stadium in Hyderabad is available but limited on online platforms. Ticketgenie has been chosen as the official ticketing partner and is now live, offering audiences modestly priced tickets at Rs. 200 for all three games. The only concern seems to be that the only batch of tickets available for pre-booking (for all games) belongs to the general category while VVIP and VIP seat booking announcements (prices, availability, mode of booking, etc.) are yet to be made.
