Several transfers were announced in the last week by ISL clubs.
The global coronavirus pandemic has taken a toll on a lot of things. Therefore, Indian football transfers are happening at a slower rate this time around. But, they have recently started confirming their acquisitions for the upcoming season.
The Indian Super League is set to start around the month of November and clubs are slowly starting to fill the voids in order to strengthen their teams ahead of the new campaign.
Odisha FC
Premjit Singh
The 18-year-old Manipuri winger, who has been one of the shining lights for I-League newcomers TRAU was roped in by Odisha FC. The Juggernauts have been in superb form in the transfer market, as they have snapped up several youngsters earlier and are continuing to do so.
Baoringdao Bodo
The former Kerala Blasters winger joined Odisha FC. The 20-year-old versatile winger has featured in the AIFF Elite Academy and has had stints with clubs like Chennaiyin FC, Kerala Blasters, Bengaluru FC and Gokulam Kerala. Bodo has shown glimpses of his talent earlier at different clubs, but has never managed to secure consistent game-time. He will look to make his name at Odisha next season.

After two seasons in Kolkata, the 22-year-old fullback will be taking the next step by joining ISL outfit Odisha FC.
Kamaljit Singh
The club have also roped in former Hyderabad FC shot-stopper, Kamaljit Singh. The 24-year-old custodian has had a lot of experience over the years at FC Pune City and also with the Nizams. Although, his last season was not his best and he still has a lot to prove.
FC Goa
Edu Bedia
FC Goa recently announced that they have convinced Spanish midfielder Edu Bedia to sign a new deal with the club which will keep him at the Fatorda until May 2022. Bedia joined Goa at the start of the 2017-18 season and since then has been a fan-favourite for the Gaurs.
Clifford Miranda
According to a report by Goal, Clifford Miranda is set to become FC Goa's assistant coach for the upcoming campaign. The Gaurs parted ways with Sergio Lobera at the back end of last season, when Miranda took the charge and guided the team through the playoffs. Eventually, Goa bowed out of the playoffs after losing to Chennaiyin FC, but Miranda received a lot of plaudits for his handing of the team.
Chennaiyin FC
Jeje Lalpekhlua
In a recent chat with Goal, India international Jeje Lalpekhlua has hinted that he is speaking with several clubs and Chennaiyin are one of them. The "Mizo Sniper" missed a lot of action due to injury and now as he gets back to full fitness, he is currently a free agent. Therefore, it will be interesting to see where Jeje finally ends up.
Kerala Blasters
Matej Poplatnik & Abdul Hakku
Recently, Goal reported that Slovenian striker Matej Poplatnik, who was on loan at Hungarian club Kaposvari Rakoczi from the Blasters, has returned to the club and signed a new contract. While Indian centre-back Abdul Hakku has also followed the same route.
The duo is likely to stay at the club for another season and it depends on their new head coach Kibu Vicuna to take a call on Poplatnik, as the striker has only featured in six games throughout the season, with only one start in his loan stint.
