In a recent interview with Minister V. Abdurahiman on KhelNow TV, the pivotal role of sports tourism in boosting Kerala’s economy was extensively discussed, shedding light on the diverse avenues and potentials within this burgeoning sector.

Abdurahiman revealed ambitious plans by the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) to construct four new stadiums across the state, representing an investment of 1400 crores. “Completion of these stadiums will attract outsiders, thereby promoting sports tourism,” he asserted. These facilities, coupled with the advent of new league matches like the Super League and Kerala League, are poised to elevate Kerala’s profile as a premier sporting destination.
