Gokulam Kerala's pre-season preparations

The Malabarians lost their star goalkeeper Aditi Chauhan to Iceland-based club Hamar Hveragerdi in April in a major setback. The Indian international played a pivotal role in the club's Indian Women's League title success in the 2019-20 season. But Gokulam Kerala have managed to retain the services of Manisha, Michel Castanha, Karishma Shirvoikar and Sabitra Bhandari.

Gokulam Kerala will also play in the AFC Women's Club Championship later this year and will hope to make an impression in their debut campaign. The tournament will be played in November. Led by head coach Priya PV, the Kozhikode-based outfit are gearing up for the new season.
