Both teams have had it tough in front of goal and are languishing in the bottom reaches of the league table.
Delhi Dynamos will hope for all three points when they will take on Jamshedpur FC in the Indian Super League match at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in the capital on Wednesday.
The Stakes
After winning their opening match against FC Pune City, Delhi Dynamos have suffered back-to-back defeats at the hands of Bengaluru FC and NorthEast United in the last two matches. Though they defeated the Stallions in their first match, Delhi are yet to produce a complete performance as they were thrashed 4-1 by the former I-League team, while the Highlanders had eased past them by a two-goal margin in the last match. However, coach Miguel Angel Portugal will try to earn all three points from this match before facing a stern test from FC Goa in their next home match.
The new entrant club from Jharkhand are yet to register a win in the league and they have also failed to score a goal in their last three matches as Jamshedpur have played goalless draws against NorthEast, Kerala Blasters and ATK in the last three matches, as a result, they stand 8th in the league table with just three points.
Team News
Dynamos gaffer Portugal has all the players at his disposal but the Spaniard is most likely to make a few changes after the last two defeats in the league.
On the other hand, Jamshedpur coach Steve Coppell is most likely to go with the same starting XI, from the last match against ATK. However, he might also add another striker to support Kervens Belfort upfront.
Head-To-Head
The clash will be the first meeting between the two teams.

Man to Watch
Matias Mirabaje–Delhi Dynamos: The attacking midfielder is one of the best midfielders in the league. The Uruguayan has already scored against Pune in their first match, whereas he also created a number of chances with accurate through passes against Bengaluru. With his ability to easily dribble past rival defenders with brilliant footwork and the quality of being clinical in front of goal will make him the most dangerous man for the Jameshdpur backline.
Kervens Belfort-Jamshedpur FC: Jameshpur’s hopes will be on the Haitian striker as they are yet to register a single goal in the league. Belfort has brilliant ball control, especially when on the run but the frontman is lacking in goals. However, the midfielders will play an important role to provide the striker with service to get their first ever goal in the league. The frontman will have to give his best if Jamshedpur are looking even for a point from this match.
Probable Lineups
Delhi Dynamos: Gomes (GK), Kotal, Cichero, Chowdhary, Lugun, Rai, Seityasen, Mirabaje, Dias, Fernandez, Uche
Jamshedpur FC: Paul (GK), Bikey, Tiri, Ghosh, Chakrabarti, Hossain, Memo, Doutie, Jerry, Belfort, Choudhary
