The Men of Steel's next head coach is also likely to come from the ranks of partners Atletico Madrid.

After narrowly missing out on the 2018-19 Indian Super League playoffs, Jamshedpur FC are now en route to part ways with current gaffer Cesar Ferrando.

According to Khel Now sources, the club will part ways with the Spaniard after the Hero Super Cup. Our source stated, "the club and its investors are in no mood to continue with Cesar. He will leave after the Super Cup."

Also, Khel Now understands that JFC's partner Atletico Madrid have had a big say in this move, with the LaLiga outfit not at all happy with Ferrando. It has also been reported to us that the Los Rojiblancos will likely get a new head coach for the Men of Steel.

The question is could Jamshedpur's performance in the Hero Super Cup have an impact on this decision; which means could Ferrando stay if he leads the team to the trophy. Regarding this, our source stated, "right now the club wants to part ways with him after the Super Cup. Winning the Super Cup could have an impact in reversing their decision but I don't think the decision will be reversed."

Before joining the ISL outfit, Ferrando had managed the likes of Atletico Madrid, Elche, Johor Darul Ta'zim. This season, the 59-year-old led Jamshedpur to the fifth spot in the league table, narrowly missing out on the semi-final spots, which went to Bengaluru FC, Mumbai City, FC Goa, and NorthEast United FC.
