The interim head coach insisted that his side are looking to upset the defending champions.
Hyderabad is all set to go up against 3rd placed Bengaluru in their upcoming away game this Thursday. The team which is at the bottom of the table right now is looking to revive itself and finds it's way up. Having won only a single game so far this season, interim head coach Javier Gurri Lopez insists the side are working hard to get back up. The performance has been so abysmal that they have been on a losing streak till their last game which saw them secure a draw in the dying seconds of the match against Mumbai City FC. With a strong opposition like Bengaluru in their path this is Javier Gurri Lopez had to say. [KH_ADWORDS type="3" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS] When asked about his plans with the team he said, " This is a long work, we cannot talk about only 10 days training. Our objective is to get ready for full season. I think we did very well against Mumbai City." When questioned about whether he would be willing to make any new experiments with the team this is what the coach had to say, "Also, we are trying to be a team, not only individuals. We are trying to play as a team and I feel so this is the way and also we are going to Bengaluru with that in our mind. We are only thinking about winning." "Next match of course Bengaluru is a strong team, they were champions and we know it. At the moment, we are trying to control the set pieces. Bengaluru has scored 60% of the goals in set pieces and we are trying to train that part of the game. We are thinking about us not only about Bengaluru," said the coach. Javier Gurri Lopez even expressed his satisfaction with his team's performance in their last game against Mumbai, "I am very proud of our performance against Mumbai because I think everyone put their 100% in there. I was more happy in the second half. First half, we did not control the game and maybe defending too high." "Our philosophy is to play attacking because we have players to play up and in the second half we change little bit position of some players. I was really happy with attitude and performance of our players," concluded Javier Gurri Lopez. [KH_ADWORDS type="4" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS] The captain of the squad Marcelinho said, " We play for pride, we play for the idea to not be at the bottom of the table. I think the staff are working on this to leave the pressure to be free try to enjoy the game. I try to say to the young players to enjoy the game but do everything correct."Team News
